K9 Neo

Donna was introduced to Search and Rescue in 2015 and originally trained as ground support with the Illinois Search and Rescue Council. Shortly thereafter she was introduced to Carren Corcoran and began training her first K9 in cadaver recovery and Kocher method of live trailing. She was a member of Canine Search and Recovery (CSAR) for several years. While she was a member of Illinois Wisconsin Search Dogs she participated in multiple searches for various police departments, government agencies as well as Illinois Search and Rescue Council. Donna completed her Nepopo Silver Certification theoretical course in August of 2024.
K9 Bane her first dog was a dual - purpose dog certified in NAPWDA Live Trailing from 2019 to 2021. He certified in Cadaver recovery Land and Water with Law Enforcement Training Specialist International (L.E.T.S) from 2019 to 2021. Bane received the CSAR Buddy Thurston Memorial Award for Outstanding First Find after a successful recovery for an Illinois Police Department in August of 2021.
In 2021 she began training her second dog Neo. Neo was originally trained as a dual purpose dog but now focused strictly on cadaver recovery. He achieved his AKC Wilderness Search and Rescue title in November of 2022. Neo completed NAPWDA instruction in 2021, certified in L.E.T.S Cadaver Land and Water recovery and Live Tracking certifications in 2022. Neo is now NNDDA Cadaver Recovery Certified as of April 2025. Neo has also been deployed by several local law enforcement agencies.
